Aug.07.2009		Events in Latvia dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of the Baltic Way Latvian Ministry of Foreigh Affairs together with the Latvian National Commission for UNESCO has created and regullarly updates a list of event devoted or developed in order to commemorate and celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Baltic Way and its inscription upon the UNESCO Memory of the World International Register.

Feb.12.2007		INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR ARTS FESTIVAL for persons with intellectual disabilities The Festival “SOLIS” takes place once every two years in Riga and has become a tradition for persons with intellectual disabilities. The main objective of the festival is to contribute to the children, teenagers and adults amateur art activities quality. The fifth festival will take place in Riga from the 10th to 12th of August, 2007 in Riga, Latvia.

Sep.13.2006		Universal Declaration of Bioethics and Human Rights translated into latvian We are happy to inform that the UNESCO Universal Declaration of Bioethics and Human Rights has been translated into Latvian language. The translation can be found in the latvian version of Section Documents .
